Residential Care (Homes/CCIs and Hostels)
Rainbow Homes & Sneh Ghars:
Rainbow Homes (for girls) and Sneh Ghars (for boys) are residential spaces created within government schools and unused government buildings to support the most vulnerable children. These homes provide comprehensive, long-term, voluntary, and non-custodial care where children choose to leave street life while maintaining parental contact.
Residential Hostels:
Children who have to leave Rainbow Homes but lack safe family shelter are placed in trusted residential boarding hostels run by private or government-aided schools.
