AMAN VEDIKA

Aman Vedika is a non-profit organization dedicated to uplifting marginalized communities, particularly vulnerable children, women in distress, and homeless individuals in Hyderabad, Secunderabad, and other districts of Telangana. Founded as a campaign group in 2004, it was officially registered in 2017 and obtained FCRA certification in 2024.

Aman Vedika initially focused on advocating for Dalit rights, farmer suicides, and food rights, Aman Vedika has evolved into a key player in child welfare, gender justice, homelessness support, and education. Rooted in the secular and democratic values of the Indian Constitution, the organization builds coalitions with NGOs and government bodies, civil society networks, organizations, and individuals to provide education, shelter, healthcare, and empowerment opportunities, fostering sustainable, human-centered solutions

A society where all people live in equality, freedom, peace and love, where the whole society is united in the common aim of development of human society, undivided by narrow walls of discrimination based on birth, profession, gender or creed, where children enjoy their childhood and give vent to their creativity, where every person has equal opportunity to reach his/her full potential.

Mission

To ensure vulnerable children receive education, care, and opportunities to grow into responsible, self-reliant citizens and to create widespread awareness on Constitutional values and rights, motivate them to opt for dignified employment, and move towards a just and equitable society.
