Family Based Care (FBC)
RHP has its strategy to reach out more number of vulnerable children on the streets. Apart from the children who require care in the institutional setups, there are children who have shelters but face other severe vulnerabilities like the threat of physical and sexual abuse, lack of access to nutritional services, formal education systems, and basic entitlements. RHP provides care to such children in the community setting and extend supplementary nutrition, bridge and remedial education, accessing basic entitlements and enrolling them in formal schools. RHP initiated this Program in the year 2021 initially with the children reintegrated with the families from Rainbow Homes.
Rainbow Community Care and Learning Centre (RCCLC)
RHP established Rainbow Community Care Learning Centre (RCCLC) mainly in the public spaces where around 50 children are enrolled in each centre, providing bridge education, remedial classes, supplementary nutrition, health care and life skills. Child Protection Committees are formed in each cluster, which ensure children's protection by taking preventive and protective measures, and also engages with their families under the Community Based Care Program.
